Because of his eventful school experience, Francis Charron believes that perseverance is a priority every day. That’s why he became the instigator of Persévérons Ensemble, a mobilization involving several stakeholders in our region. Through small group conferences, he helped raise awareness to over 2,000 students.

The project "Touching the summit" allows young students from the second cycle of high school, at risk of dropping out, to live an experience of perseverance, supervised and encouraged by adults from all walks of life. Community partners unite, both in the organization and in the realization of the project, to enable these young people to reach the top of a mountain.

This benefit show features several well-known artists who will perform their compositions as well as Rock classics. Some artists are accompanied by young autistic people with amazing talents. The proceeds from the event are donated to organizations that meet the needs of people with autism.

Mr. Charron was very involved in the ÉTS Network from 2001 to 2009, first as Treasurer and then, for almost seven years, as Chairman of the Board.


For two consecutive years, 2009 and 2010, Francis Charron acted as Honorary President for The Saint Eustache Hospital Foundation Golf Classic.

Thanks to his commitment and the collaboration of the committee, they raised more than $424,000.


This involvement contributed to the financing of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device for the Saint-Eustache Hospital.
