On March 15, the EMD Construction – Batimo Group and the Chartwell Retirement Residences held a groundbreaking event to mark the start of construction on the Chartwell Greenfield Park residence, scheduled to open in the fall of 2019.<\/p>\n

“Since our presentation centre opening, we have received a good number of visits from retirees and their families who show a high interest in this type of residential complex that combines entertainment and tranquility, in addition to being located within the existing health centre of the city,” says Maxime Camerlain, Vice-President, Real Estate Integration Strategies.<\/p>\n

The $83.1 million project will create 350 jobs during construction and 50 permanent jobs. The residence will include approximately 271 apartments as well as 62 prestigious apartments in addition to a care centre of 35 units for semi-autonomous persons.
