A groundbreaking ceremony took place on May 9th, 2018, officially launching the construction of Chartwell L’Envol residence located in Cap-Rouge. This new complex, unique of its kind, will be located within the redevelopment of the Cap-Rouge Mall, offering a close to a wide range of convenient services for the residents.
The event was held at L’Envol’s presentation centre and several personalities from the region were present, including Ms. Geneviève Guilbault, the Member of Parliament for Louis-Hébert, along with members from Chartwell, Batimo and EMD, as well as people of the community.
” This residential project model is of great interest to Cap-Rouge citizens, especially since several dozen seniors have already reserved their apartments. The fact that the residence is adjacent to the shopping centre is a unique feature that will allow retirees to remain active and engaged, while enjoying a wide range of services, programs and on-site businesses”, explains Mr. Maxime Camerlain, Vice-President, Real Estate Integration.
The project, valued at $78.5 million, will employ a total of 350 people during construction, while contributing to the creation of approximately 50 permanent jobs once the residence is fully functional. Combining nature, prestige and direct access to the Cap-Rouge Mall, this new residential complex, scheduled to be opened in the summer of 2019, will include 360 units as well as a living environment of 36 high-end units for semi-autonomous people.
