To make history, to create passions, to be anchored in our memories, to become a tradition. Legend is a tribute to the first builders who, as early as 1911, had Greenfield Park at heart. It is a tip of the hat to the citizens who, in both languages, have united to walk the same path. It is a nod to the sports institutions that have left their mark on the region, from the Greenfield Cardinals to the mythical Champion bowling alley. Legend is about highlighting the achievements of the past, while continuing to mark the timeline in the present.
This new identity, created with the invaluable contribution of the residents, will offer a number of opportunities. In the wake of this undertaking, a host of projects will be launched in a spirit of cooperation. The residents will be tasked, among other things, with the renaming of the bistro and dining hall to give these revisited common areas a personality and a soul of their own. They will also have the opportunity of selecting some of the region’s important figures who will be inducted each year into the Wall of celebrities. Who will become a legend? For example, the Bolduc brothers, who generated much passion at the mythical Champion bowling alley, could be among the nominees.
