Solid foundations for a sustainable future
From the beginning, we’ve aimed to make a meaningful difference for our employees, customers, partners, and communities. With a vision focused on sustainability, our commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria guides our long-term strategy. Supported by our management committee, partners, and employees, this approach helps us become a more responsible company, strengthen our relationships, foster innovation, and contribute to a better future.
This policy aims above all to improve our operational performance at all levels of the organization to reduce our environmental footprint and increase our social impact.
The UN has defined the Sustainable Development Goals as a guide to a better and sustainable future, addressing global challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate, environment, prosperity, peace, and justice. These closely linked goals must be achieved by 2030 to leave no one behind. EMD-Batimo draws inspiration from eight of these goals to structure its sustainable development policy around the three ESG criteria.
- Good Health and Well-being
- Gender Equality
- Affordable and Clean Energy
- Decent Work and Economic Growth
- Sustainable Cities and Communities
- Responsible Consumption and Production
- Climate Action
- Life on Land

We do not inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children.

PERSÉVÉRONS ENSEMBLE
Francis Charron, President of Groupe EMD-Batimo, believes that his eventful educational journey has made academic perseverance a daily priority. This is why he became the instigator of Persévérons ensemble, a mobilization bringing together several stakeholders from the region. This non-profit organization is committed to contributing to and supporting perseverance, as well as the personal, academic, and social success of young people at risk of dropping out, facing exclusion, or experiencing learning difficulties within the territory of the Mille-Îles School Service Centre.
