HISTORY
EMD-Batimo Group is a leader in the construction and real estate industry in Quebec. The success of the Group is the result of the efforts of two men passionate about property development.
Marc Dubuc, President of EMD Construction, has always been involved in the world of construction. At age 14, he helped his father renovate rental housing in Verdun and St-Henri. After ten years as a plumber, he became a general contractor in 1994, founding EMD Construction.
In 1998, Marc Dubuc met Francis Charron, an engineer who was leading Costco’s construction projects for the Eastern Canada Division. There was an immediate chemistry between the two real estate buffs and a business partnership was born. Twenty years later, their companies have more than 400 employees!
Today, the EMD-Batimo Group presents a portfolio of numerous residential complexes, including retirement homes, condominiums and rental properties. The company also specializes in the construction of office and commercial buildings.
