HISTORY

EMD Construction – Batimo Group is a leader in the construction and real estate industry in Quebec. The success of the Group is the result of the efforts of two men passionate about property development.

Marc Dubuc, President of EMD Construction, has always been involved in the world of construction. At age 14, he helped his father renovate rental housing in Verdun and St-Henri. After ten years as a plumber, he became a general contractor in 1998, founding EMD Construction.

In 1998, Marc Dubuc met Francis Charron, an engineer who was leading Costco’s construction projects for the Eastern Canada Division. The chemistry operates immediately between the two real estate buffs and a business collaboration begins. Twenty years later, their companies have more than 200 employees!

Today, the EMD Construction – Bâtimo Group presents a portfolio of numerous residential complexes, including retirement homes, condominiums and rental properties. The company also specializes in the construction of office and commercial buildings.
